How FinSmart Connects to FBR
FinSmart submits invoices to FBR through the Digital Invoicing API run by PRAL (Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt.) Ltd), FBR's IT arm. Each business uses its own PRAL-issued sandbox and production tokens, which FinSmart stores for that business and uses only on the server. The software supports all 28 sandbox scenarios (SN001 to SN028), validates every invoice before submission, stores the FBR invoice number and prints it with a QR code on the invoice, and follows FBR's 72-hour edit/cancel rule: a submitted production invoice is not edited in FinSmart; corrections are made on the IRIS portal.

📋 Built for Pakistani Tax Law
Not a generic invoicing tool. FinSmart carries FBR's tax fields on every item (sales tax, further tax, extra tax, FED, withholding, discount, SRO schedule and item serial) and looks up HS codes, units of measure, sale types and rates from FBR reference data.
⚡ Real-Time Submission
Invoices are validated and submitted to FBR when they are issued. FBR's validation feedback, including invoice-level and item-level error codes, is shown to the user so the data can be corrected before submission.
🔒 Secure & Compliant
HTTPS throughout, two-factor authentication (authenticator app with recovery codes), hashed passwords, and FBR tokens stored per business and used only on the server. Every change is recorded in an activity log, every FBR request and response in a server-side audit log, and backups are maintained.
👥 Multi-Branch Support

A dashboard with total invoiced, total tax, customers, FBR submitted and pending counts, sales trend, FBR compliance chart and sales by product, filtered by week, month, year or custom dates.

A team experienced in FBR Digital Invoicing integration guides you through IRIS enrolment, sandbox scenario testing and production go-live, with support by email, WhatsApp and phone in English and Urdu.
Submission Safety
An invoice is locked while it is being submitted so it cannot be sent twice. If FBR times out, the invoice is flagged for you to verify on IRIS before a Force Resubmit. Duplicate-invoice protection and a production confirmation step guard every live submission.
Sandbox to Production
Sandbox and production modes are chosen at login, with separate invoice numbering. All 28 FBR sandbox scenarios (SN001 to SN028) are supported, so you can pass the scenarios eligible for your business and receive your production token.
